On 20th January 2016, Carter’s took the first step to enter the Indian market with Babyoye by Mahindra. I was a part of this event, where Mandira Bedi along with her cute son Vir, mentioned that she has been a long time Carter’s fan. Zhooben Bhiwandiwala – chairman, Prakash Wakankar – CEO of Mahindra Retail were also there to share the stage with Kevin Corning, the EVP of Carter’s Inc., emphasized the importance of the legendary American brand coming to India.
When someone questioned Prakash Wakankar about his intent of launching Carter’s through Babyoye, he spontaneously replied, “Carter’s is known for three things – their quality, design aesthetic and value for money which blends well with our values.”
I am absolutely thrilled to know that Babyoye has brought Carter’s to India, because of the amazing range of baby essentials, easy outfit sets and fashion collections that I can experiment with my kiddo. As my son’s birthday is coming in next few weeks, I have already started planning and shopping for the gifts and everything that needs to be done, and carter’s was a big help. Literally!!
Mandira Bedi also shared the same kind of joy and emotion at the event when she said that she used to purchase Carter’s on her trips overseas, and now with a single click, the best range of baby essentials will be at your doorstep. Also, Carter’s clothes are now available in 40 Babyoye stores in 19 different cities across India.
