Delhi Drive, Design & Connect

Delhi Drive
Delhi is the heart of the nation and the city that connects multi- ethnicity, cultures, traditions. It is a city where you find people from all sections of society.
Drive:

While if you have been a witness to the Luetyen’s Delhi you will not deny the unparalleled drives on the broad, free roads there. Remember Rang de Basanti and India gate open gipsy feel. aah! Delhi is well connected with all parts of the country. But my most favourite part is the drive to Jaipur on the national highway.I remember spending most of my childhood travelling by road from Delhi to Rajasthan. At that time I dreaded the idea, because the Jaipur highway was not as spectacular as today. Today thanks to the golden quadrilateral project, the highway is great.

A drive to Jaipur is the best ever way to spend your weekend. I wish that I could spend each of my weekend like that. Jaipur is one of the most important cities in India from the point of tourism. Jaipur Road Network has a well-maintained road network. The city is easily accessible from all the important cities and towns of India.

Design:

The foundation stone of the city was laid by George V, Emperor of India during the Delhi Durbar of 1911. It was designed by British architects, Sir Edwin Lutyens and Sir Herbert Baker. Nobody can beat Lutyens architecture afterall.

Lutyens led a group of architects in laying out the central administrative area of Delhi, with the charge of retaining one-third of the area as green space. So, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Rajpath, India Gate, Ashoka Road, Connaught Place and the area around Red Fort is ofcourse the most premium and most well preserved area of the city. It happens to be the most organised section of the city as well.
The designs are symmetrical, though echoing the colonial power structures. They are definitely architectural masterpieces.
Connect:Transport in the city is highly efficient public. The entire city relies on the  public transport system.  Introduction of the Delhi Metro was the best thing to have happened to the city.

Delhi is the heart of the nation and also the national news. If something happens here, there is no way you can miss it. It is well-connected by air, road, railways and of course metro.

When it comes to fighting or challenging other zones, Delhi is the best #Madeforgreat.
